Inspiration and education to create a positive and powerful first impression.

As an etiquette instructor, Jennifer understands and deeply appreciates the power of a positive first impression. Recognizing that people form judgments within seven seconds of meeting, Jennifer helps her students optimize their presentation so as to maximize their confidence and success in the social, academic and business world.

As a positive initial interaction can open doors and change futures, Jennifer felt compelled to share the art of making a lasting first impression with others. Through her program, "The First Seven Seconds," Jennifer teaches the fundamental principles of presenting one's best self during this critical introduction phase. Her approach has empowered students to gain acceptance into top tier colleges and enabled job applicants to secure competitive positions at leading Fortune 100 companies.

Jennifer is now focusing on extending the reach of "The First Seven Seconds" to support those most in need of this program. She volunteers her time to work with asylum seekers, individuals in recovery from addiction, and underrepresented students, teaching and rehearsing the skill set required to succeed.

In Her Presence

I am proud to highlight the work I am doing with In Her Presence, an organization that empowers immigrant women and families living in Maine to cultivate connections, create nurturing relationships and learn along the way. I volunteer my time to provide these women with the self-confidence they need to adapt to life in the United States. Learn more about this amazing organization and how you can help here.

#MotherhoodMonday with Rachael Stainko
